This value binds the Ma'anyan Dayak community as an identity and character of the Ma'anyan people. In the text of Philippians 2:1-7, the message to be like-minded, in one love, one soul, and one purpose is rooted in Jesus' example. The researcher conducted a dialogue on the values of Mira Pakat and the text of Philippians 2:1-7 with the Ma'anyan Dayak community in Banjarmasin. The research method used was qualitative research. Data was collected through interviews and observations. The results showed that the value of Mira Pakat is a noble value that must be maintained in the Ma'anyan Dayak community.
2024-02-29T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Sudianto Sudianto, Kinurung Maleh, Ripaldi Galatia 3:28 dan Pelayanan Perempuan: Sebuah Penafsiran Menggunakan Epistolary Approach Untuk Menjelaskan Pelayanan Kaum Perempuan di Gereja 2024-02-11T10:16:23+00:00 Christo Antusias Davarto Siahaan
Galatians 3:28 is one of the Biblical texts that supports equality between women and men. However, this verse is not widely used to provide an understanding of opportunities for women to serve in the church. Therefore, by using the Epistolary Approach, an understanding based on Galatians 3:28 regarding women's service opportunities in the church can be obtained. This understanding is first that Galatians 3:28 provides a positive attitude towards women's ministry in the church, namely that Galatians 3:28 supports women's ministry, because women's ministry is one of the implications and results of the true Gospel delivered by the apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then secondly, Galatians 3:28 gives a positive impression of women's opportunities to serve the church as something that is expected.
2024-02-29T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Christo Antusias Davarto Siahaan Tradisi Piwara’an Dalam Konteks Dayak Ma’anyan di Jemaat GKE Hosana IV PIR: Suatu Kajian Teologis Dalam Rangka Kehidupan Bersama Umat Kristen di Tengah Masyarakat 2024-01-23T06:31:45+00:00 Lia afriliani Enta Malasinta Lantigimo Keloso S. Ugak
Piwara'an tradition is one of the cultures owned by the Dayak Maanyan tribe in Palu Rejo Village which is lived in the life of the GKE Hosana IV PIR congregation. This research aims to describe the description of Palu Rejo Village and the GKE Hosana IV PIR congregation, describe the description of the Piwara'an Tradition and the noble values contained in it, and reconstruct theology according to the Anthropological Model and its actualization for the GKE Hosana IV PIR congregation. This type of research is qualitative research with the methods of interview, observation, and literature study. The Piwara'an tradition has positive noble values, especially closely related to the existence of Christian families in their testimony during life together with people from various backgrounds. There are three findings in the Piwara'an Tradition, namely that Dayak Maanyan people in Palu Rejo Village want to build a family that respects culture, there is an understanding that marriage and family are part of social events in the community, and marriage and efforts to build a family have a connection with God. The Piwara'an tradition reminds that there is a close relationship between humans and others, as well as humans and God that must continue to be built.
2024-02-29T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Lia afriliani, Enta Malasinta Lantigimo, Keloso S. Ugak Reinterpretasi Kisah Abigail dari Perspektif Pairan Dapo’ di Mamasa Sulawesi Barat 2024-02-13T16:54:58+00:00 Jefri Andri Saputra Wiwin Yunita Rina Lestari Tanan Yumita Selvi Rombe Payung
This study aims to respond to stereotypes and discrimination experienced by women who work as housewives. The author responds to this problem by reinterpreting the story of Abigail in 1 Samuel 25:2-44. The research method in this paper uses the seeing-through approach. The perspective lens used is the pairan dapo’ concept in Mamasa, West Sulawesi. The author finds that the text of 1 Samuel 25:2-44 describes Abigail as a housewife who does not just stay home and always submits to her husband's orders and decisions. Abigail has the space and role to criticize Nabal's wrong attitudes and actions. Abigail's actions become reflective material for constructing that housewife can play a role in seeking the welfare of their families. This role does not lie in an economic role, but rather wisdom and knowledge of ethical values to criticize her husband and family.
2024-02-29T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Jefri Andri Saputra, Wiwin Yunita, Rina Lestari Tanan, Yumita Selvi Rombe Payung Analisis Sistem Penanganan Bencana di GBKP Klasis Sinabun terhadap Resiliensi Masyarakat Penyintas Gunung Sinabung 2024-01-19T03:13:39+00:00 Eikel Karunia Ginting
This paper analyzes the disaster management system in GBKP Klasis Sinabun which is closely related to the presbyterial-synodal system. This tradition is also practiced among the congregation members of the GKE Mandomai Church. Research on the mangenta tradition, as far as the team knows, has never explored its theological meaning. Therefore, the team researched and wrote about it. This research was conducted qualitatively. The initial investigation was done by examining writings related to local wisdom, the mangenta tradition and Mandomai. After that, the team was on location observing and interviewing various informants and phenomena related to the mangenta tradition. After that, the writing team formulated the theological meanings associated with these traditions. The team found that this tradition has begun to be uprooted among members of the GKE Mandomai congregation. Even though, the theological values contained therein are very valuable to maintain. The theological meanings found include togetherness or kapakat, unity or kahinje, expressions of gratitude/kahanjak, intimacy/kasene arep/tawan ekae and accuracy/pas, dia labih, dia kurang.
2024-02-29T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Tahan Mentria Cambah, Retni Mulyani, Alexandra Binti
